Key job responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will involve the design and implementation of highly available, scalable and fault-tolerant systems at scale. You will leverage new age technologies and real-time analytics and high volume, low latency, high availability services. You will own the delivery of technical changes from a strong roadmap of projects, ranging from developing new self-service workflows for sellers to implementing complex tax calculation and invoicing systems.A day in the life
As a Software Development Engineer in the TIE team, you will:
- Take the lead on building innovative solutions to address the root causes of tax and invoicing defects- Contribute to the global expansion of our services
- Have a strong bias for action, invent and simplify, insist on the highest standards, and deliver results

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
