As a Test Lead for Commercial Banking, you will supervise a process and a team of experienced staff which performs Quality Assurance and Testing of Global Services Middle Office. You will also be responsible for assessing end-to-end operational risk for businesses through the existing Control and Operational Risk This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.

As a Test Lead for Commercial Banking, you will supervise a process and a team of experienced staff which performs Quality Assurance and Testing of Global Services Middle Office. You will also be responsible for assessing end-to-end operational risk for businesses through the existing Control and Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE) program.

Job responsibilities:


•Manage a team which performs Substantive and Control Evaluation Testing for Global Services Middle Office.
•Execute Control Evaluations to confirm control design and performance effectiveness, identify significant gaps, and determine if tested controls appropriately mitigate the identified risk.
•Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including delivering testing results and designing additional substantive tests.
•Leverage knowledge of business operation to influence test plan (timing and execution method).
•Train and coach team members to support their professional development and achieve success; measure employee performance through data-driven metrics.
•Address complex process related questions and escalations from team members and collaborate with key stakeholders for resolution.
•Identify and drive process improvements and other strategic initiatives.
•Maintain appropriate control environment and comply with all policies and guidelines.
•Promote an inclusive environment and be a culture carrier.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


•Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 8 years relevant experience in financial services industry with background in quality assurance, control management, audit, risk management, or compliance; or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business-related function/operation.
•Strong risk & control mindset, analytical in nature, yet able to handle subjectivity.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present concise findings in a persuasive manner.
•Self-motivated with effective time management and multitasking skills.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•Ability to work a flexible shift as required to meet with Subject Matter Experts across time zones.
