Your key responsibilities

Technical Excellence

· Advising on technical and compliance issues relating to requirements under indirect tax laws.

· Issuing tax opinions and memorandums on various issues relating to indirect tax laws across various sectors.

· Work as a team on tax due diligences and handle various sections of a tax due diligence exercise.

· Drafting and vetting of litigation submission documents such as reply to notices, grounds of appeal.

· Good knowledge of legal issues and keeps abreast of developments in law.

· Be up to date with key technical and functional skills, and industry trends

To qualify for the role you must have
Qualification

Chartered Accountant

Prior experience/insight into GST and Customs, as also the erstwhile Indirect taxation viz. Sales Tax/ Service Tax/Central Excise is desirable.
