As a Staff Data Scientist in Imaging Fleet Solutions, you will be part of the product engineering team providing technical leadership on defining, developing and evolving data and advanced analytics towards Imaging Operations Use Cases in a fast paced and Agile development environment. Also, you will contribute to the development, deployment and operationalization of statistical methods, modern machine learning, optimization and operational research on Imaging machine data.


In this role, you will:

  • Work with Project/Product Managers and stakeholders to understand product requirements and execute to the project vision.

  • Perform analysis of historical Imaging data, apply statistical modelling and machine learning techniques to provide insights on data patterns and characteristics to funnel Imaging Operations improvements & analytics.

  • Translate business intelligence requirements and project vision into prioritized list of user stories, developing and delivering Imaging Operations intelligence to required timelines and quality standards.

  • Create and demonstrate algorithms to meet accuracy requirements through statistical analyses techniques and tools.

  • Provide leadership in data creation, formatting and standardization to enable efficient and effective machine learning.

  • Communicate effectively with a wide range of business, engineering, and scientific teams.

  • Support product and technology reuse and scalability.

  • Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge.

  • Develop code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.

  • Contribute to the development of software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components across teams that can be orchestrated together.

  • Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry, and market trends to assist in product development and/or operational support activities.

Educational Qualification:

  • Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields such as Computer Science and Engineering.
  • Bachelor’s/Masters degree with minimum of 8 years (PhD degree with 5 years) relevant experience, or significant professional experience.

Required Skills :

  • Good knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms and modeling.
  • Experience with big data and cloud technologies (PySpark, AWS Jupyter, AWS Redshift etc.).
  • Knowledge of Python Libraries - Scipy, Numpy, Pandas, IPython, Matplotlib etc.
  • Experience with extracting data from large databases (SQL, Hue, Postgres, Hive QL, Lucene etc.).
  • Experience developing and deploying models on Cloud with full data science lifecycle, from business understanding to model operationalization (MLOps).
  • Experience with data visualization technologies (Spotfire, Tableau, Python, … etc.).
  • Experience working on software projects from ideation through realization. Healthcare domain experience will be a plus.
