Key Responsibilities
Design and execute test plans: Design, implement, and maintain test plans and test cases for embedded systems to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.
Perform hardware and software testing: Conduct thorough testing of both hardware and software components of embedded systems, identifying and documenting defects and issues.
Conduct gas detection tests: Design and conduct tests to evaluate the performance of gas detection systems within embedded devices, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Automate test processes: Develop automated test scripts and frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage of the testing process.
Testing Tools: Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as JTAG, LabVIEW, Python
Analyze and interpret test results: Provide detailed analysis and reports on test results, identifying root causes of issues and suggesting corrective actions.
Maintain test environments: Set up and maintain test environments, ensuring they are up-to-date and properly configured for testing purposes.
Stay updated with industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in embedded systems and testing methodologies to continuously improve testing practices.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Instrumentation
Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in embedded systems testing, with a focus on hardware, Firmware and software integration.
Testing Tools: Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks such as JTAG, LabVIEW.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
