Lawyer – Employment Law

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting our team in providing high quality and strategic employment law advice to internal and external clients (both in Australia and internationally) on all aspects of the employment relationship, from conduct and performance to workforce flexibility and contracts of employment
- Reviewing and interpreting legislation and industrial instruments for wage and entitlement compliance projects which uses EY’s cutting edge data analytics capability
- Assisting our team in providing strategic workforce and industrial relations advice, including developing enterprise agreement strategies, drafting EAs and conducting BOOT analysis
- Assisting our team in advising on the employment law aspects of mergers and acquisitions and restructures including undertaking employment law due diligence
What we’re looking for

- 1 - 4 years post-qualification experience in legal practice
- An understanding and knowledge of Australian employment law
- Someone who works well as part of a team and is keen to expand their employment law knowledge
