Essential Responsibilities:
- Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
- Advises immediate management on project-level issues
- Guides junior engineers
- Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
- Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions
Expected Qualifications:
- 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications
Your day-to-day:
- Design, build and enhance web-based applications and portals using modern frontend and backend frameworks.
- Develop AI-assisted and conversational features that guide users through integration and troubleshooting workflows.
- Collaborate with product and integration teams to model and support end-to-end payment flows (authorization, capture, settlement).
- Implement and maintain secure APIs, webhooks, and backend orchestration to connect multiple platform systems.
- Contribute to DevOps and deployment pipelines on AWS to ensure scalability, reliability, and observability.
- Partner with security and analytics teams to ensure the portals are safe, compliant, and insight driven.
- Participate in agile development practices, including design discussions, sprint ceremonies, and production support when required.
What you need to bring:
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with emphasis onfrontend or backend web application development(JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar).
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and familiarity with AWS or comparable environments.
- Solid understanding of building scalable, secure, and high-quality applications.
- Experience working with API integrations, SDKs, and developer tools.
- Proven ability to write high-quality, testable code and debug across distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with modern software development practices, version control, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for delivering reliable, high-impact software.
It’s great if you also have:
- Prior experience in payments, fintech, or client integration environments.
- Experience with developer portals, sandbox or credential management systems.
- Exposure to AI agentic systems or workflow orchestration.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
