KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with commodity managers to deliver on initiatives impacting AMAT supply chain, managing project plans
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization across AMAT sourcing strategy
  • Serve as liaison to engineers
  • Owns delivery of scorecard metrics
  • Act as escalation point for projects. Act as mediator to provide resolutions in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders and stakeholder groups in all Business Units and be an advocate for supplier diversity and supplier responsibility
  • Develop and maintain internal relationships
  • Represent Supplier Diversity in support of RFP projects
  • Manage conflict minerals further due diligence

  • Single point of contact for projects/programs

Functional Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of supply chain management methods and principles; familiarity with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements a significant plus
  • Familiarity with Applied’s ESG program and other leading-company CSR / ESG programs, especially as they pertain to supply chain sustainability and diversity
  • Demonstrates broad supply chain and supply chain sustainability knowledge

  • Anticipates business ESG related issues; recognizes ESG related opportunities
  • Familiar with supply chain ESG compliance tracking, assessing and improvement methods

  • Leads projects with risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-4 years’ experience
