As an Associate within our Instruction Services & Processing team, you will play a vital role in indexing, authenticating and capturing manual instructions – cash and securities - for German speaking clients.
Job responsibilities
- Perform authentication steps for and capture manual client instructions across a variety of products. The Frankfurt-based team is part of a global team.
- Build strong internal working relationships and partnerships with colleagues in Frankfurt and globally.
- Provide operational subject matter expertise and perform root cause analysis to resolve any issues.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual client instructions and eliminate bespoke client processes.
- Manage group e-mail inbox for the team.
- Input into daily and monthly MIS reports for senior management.
- Support other teams in Custody Operations if required.
- Perform project-related tasks depending on workload.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven track record in Operations.
- Industry/product knowledge in Trade Settlement, Cash or Asset Servicing required.
- Attention to detail required.
- Ambitious, hard-working, self-motivated, flexible, analytical and proactive.
- Key focus areas for the role are accuracy, proactivity, responsiveness, knowledge and drive for excellence.
- Excellent prioritisation, planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, confident at interacting and communicating with internal and external parties.
- Bachelor degree or a completed bank apprenticeship.
- Fluency in German is essential.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced knowledge of J.P. Morgan’s systems / applications and service offering a plus.
