- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in sales engineering.
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience modernizing legacy applications and applying cloud native development methodologies and tools including container and Kubernetes technology.
- Experience with cloud native architectures in a customer-facing or support role, engaging with C-level or executive business leaders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in developing scalable architectures using API management, microservice frameworks, and PaaS.
- Experience in operations with virtualization deployments.
- Experience with networking concepts including software-defined networking, routing, virtual private networks, load balancers, and firewalls, and logging and monitoring of hybrid-cloud workloads.
- Experience with modern software development life-cycle methodologies and tools including CI/CD, container orchestration, and Day two operations.
- Understanding of web application security, service mesh, and mobile security strategies.
- Ability to understand a complex customer’s existing software workloads and define a technical migration roadmap to the cloud reflecting specific customer needs.
