1. Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans across IPG.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L reporting with detailed variance analysis.
  • Develop insightful financial reports linking business performance to financial outcomes.
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial data within Power BI and other reporting systems.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency with IPG Global controlling / finance processes and practices.

2. Business Partnering & Decision Support

  • Act as a finance business partner to IPG leadership, providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Support key business decisions by analyzing customer profitability, pricing models, and operational efficiency.
  • Support preparation of capex and quotations
  • Attend regular meetings with Business Sales, Engineering, and Operations to understand and challenge business assumptions.
  • Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders, proactively detect risk and opportunities

3. Cost Management & Operational Efficiency

  • Move from cost controlling to cost management: Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Conduct deep dives into VAVE projects, SBC (Should be condition), and support product profitability analysis.
  • Collaborate with plants to align cost structures with business strategy.
  • Validate operational costs for new business opportunities and RFQs.

4. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with JE Group policies, accounting standards, and local regulations.
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure robust financial governance across IPG.

5. Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Ensure finance acts as a proactive partner rather than just a reporting function.
  • Build strong relationships with regional teams, plants, and global finance stakeholders.

Key Recurring Tasks:

  • Monthly P&L reporting and variance analysis.
  • Budgeting and forecasting cycles.
  • Cost center and headcount reviews.
  • Credit control and overdue payment follow-up.
  • Financial input to support sales quotations, new projects, business cases and capital investments.
  • Participation in regular business and project review meetings.
  • Benchmarking studies and cost competitiveness analysis.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required by business leaders.
  • Support M&A activities, due diligence, and integration projects if applicable.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience, with exposure to controlling, FP&A, and business partnering.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within industrial products or automotive sectors.
