Your impact

As a Technologist based out of our Greenwood Village, CO office, you will:

• Work with our team to deliver innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges

• Participate in our technologist career path and Communities of Practice which provide global exposure to challenging projects and industry-leading experts at Jacobs

• Support our water distribution, treatment, conveyance, and water resources teams by helping to deliver and provide technical leadership for a variety of projects

• Lead distribution system modeling projects and help drive the Front Range market strategy

• Assist with digital water solution development and implementation (i.e. digital twins)

• Work with our team of engineers and modelers to deliver projects and mentor our junior and mid-level engineers

• Work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading, developing long-term client relationships

• Increase professional and technical knowledge through participation in industry associations and committees

• Learn from our principal technologists who are experts in the industry

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related engineering discipline

• At least 10 years of relevant water industry experience

• Proficiency in GIS software and distribution system modeling software, including InfoWater Pro, InfoWorks WS Pro, WaterGEMS, EPANET, and Optimatics

• Experience with advanced distribution system modeling applications including optimization, and transient analysis

• Experience with coding

• Familiarity with applications of advanced metering infrastructure, smart sensors, and/or IoT as they relate to water distribution systems.

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

• Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
