Your Role and Responsibilities
As a software developer, you will work with clients and others in a multidisciplinary team to define requirements and develop solutions. You will design, code, and test solutions for IBM Z platform, that use programming languages including Java, C/C++, Assembler, PL1.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Technical and Professional Expertise with relevant experience of 5- 9 years in developing SW using C++
- Minimum 5 years in programming and debugging skills in C++
- Hands on experience in working with Debugger (LLDB, GDB, PurifyPlus, Sentry,…etc)
- Very Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
- Must have good Learning ability
- Must be a Strong Team Player with good communication and Interpersonal Skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- IBM Products Knowledge and Experience in ZOS. Exposure to Python, PLX
- Extremely comfortable in Linux/Unix development environment – commands/shell, Libraries and managing the development environment & Linux Administration.
- Ability to write/modifying Shell Programs – Bash, KSH, CSH.
- Experience working with install/Build scripts, Make files and configuration.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a global team environment
- Proven command over the English language, both written and verbal
