• This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ.
• Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must ​relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.
• This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 100%.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)

  o OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)

  o OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results)

  o OR equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of experience working as a data scientist.
• 3+ years of experience in working with software engineering teams, hardware engineering teams, and/or data science teams.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with various generative AI technologies including advanced prompt engineering, model fine tuning and large-scale deployment
• Proven experience working with large-scale product and service telemetry systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of data collection, processing, and analysis methodologies.
• Experience with Exploratory Data Analyses, Inference analysis, Predictive analysis (Regression, Classification etc.) and forecasting.
• Proven foundation in applied statistics and mathematics, with the ability to apply advanced analytical techniques to solve complex problems.
• Fluency in analytical programming languages such as Python.
• Experience with Experiment Design and analysis.
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas, simplify and formalize complex ideas.
