You will use your in-depth knowledge and multi-disciplinary skills in wafer fabrication facility support systems. These systems could include: Ultra Pure Water, Acid Waste Neutralization, Electrical, High Purity Pumped Chemicals, Purity Gases, Point of Use Abatement, Acid and Solvent Waste, Solvent Recycle, Factory Monitoring and Controls. As a part of the Semiconductor Clean room Technologies team, you will work alongside other technical specialists who help keep Broadcom’s primary wafer fab running. You will be directly responsible for maintenance and operation of a critical process system. You'll have the opportunity to integrate with system and process engineers, manufacturing technicians, external suppliers and contractors as you improve your systems performance and reliability.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Support preventive maintenance and repair of DI Water, Chemical Delivery, Gas Delivery and other semiconductor fab support systems.

  • Adhere to safety requirements necessary to work on semiconductor facilities support equipment and systems.

  • SCT technicians work an AWS schedule supporting a 24x7 fab operation. Given the wide distribution of our systems and the breadth of complexity, mastery of the SCT technician role can take many years.

  • SCT technicians must be proficient in basic electronic troubleshooting, chemical and gas delivery systems, chemical hazards and receive extensive training to allow them to operate safely and in compliance with governmental regulations.

  • SCT technicians receive Emergency Response Technician Training and fully support Hazmat callouts as well as lead Hazmat responses and events.

  • SCT technicians support all waste systems and treatment systems required to ensure Broadcom’s environmental compliance requirements.

  • SCT technicians are members of our ERT team. This team supports the safety of our site and the technicians train to respond to hazardous or medical incidents to protect employees and our equipment.

  • SCT Technicians at technician level 4 should have an associates degree or military technical experience/training of minimum six years of directly related experience, OR equivalent combination of directly related education and experience.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $23.25 - $36.00 per hour.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents.
