The Business Risk and Control Senior manager is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments in the issue management space and provides directional strategy for the development of Technology – Foundational Services Issue Quality Coordinator (T-FS IQC) process. The IQC has a broad understanding of CISO and IT Risk issues and risk assessment processes. Excellent communication skills are required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. The IQC is responsible for short-to-medium term planning of actions for improving the IQC process, managing stakeholder communications, developing performance indicators and key metrics, and participating in enterprise-wide governance forums.
Responsibilities:
- Requires a comprehensive understanding of cyber security and technology risk.
- Applies in-depth understanding of issue management principles to ensure that quality reviews are comprehensive.
- Implement a communication strategy for Issue Owners and Issue Coordinators, including developing collateral materials and hosting stakeholder information sessions.
- Participate in enterprise-wide governance forums which are inclusive of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd lines of defense.
- Define key performance indicators and metrics to track process performance.
- Perform thematic analysis of quality concerns identified.
- Interface with stakeholders to facilitate quality reviews.
- Support the development of internal tools and dashboards and participate in user testing of the global issue management system.
Qualifications:
- Considerable years experience in Cybersecurity / Information and people management
- Experience in executing quality assurance / control reviews
- Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
- Effective organizational influencing skills required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvements
- Business Information Security Officer (BISO) experience a plus
- MS Excel, MS Access, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic a plus.

- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree a plus
