The Commercial Credit Officer (CCO) is a highly skilled client team member or associate, providing expert level advisory guidance in the most complex, integrated debt capital solutions for commercial banking clients.This role reports to the Commercial Credit Manager and will be aligned to an Underwriting Team that supports the market.


Responsibilities:

  • Manages a portfolio of HENFP clients and prospects with annual revenues of $50 MM - $2 billion+.
  • Acquires, deepens, and maintains profitable relationships through credit sales, prospecting and relationship building.
  • Manages the end-to-end credit process for a portfolio of clients.
  • Provides capital structure solutions.
  • Negotiates and executes credit documentation.
  • Leads the credit and risk approval processes.
  • Mentors and supports junior credit associates’ learning and development through coaching.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of solid Commercial Banking experience.
  • Experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting and portfolio management.
  • Analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling, and loan structuring.
  • Strong critical thinking skills; detail oriented with ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and partner with all levels of leadership across multiple lines of business (verbal and written).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Power Point and Excel
  • Industry knowledge across healthcare, education and non-profit sectors preferred.

BA/BS Degree Preferred

1st shift (United States of America)
