Intel Senior PCB/CAD Layout Engineer

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Working on a variety of board designs and form factors. Including PCIe, OCP 3.0 and custom OEM form factors. Typical board technology is 4 - 14 layers, TYPE 3 and 4 with blind/buried uvias.
• You will work on multiple facets of PCB layout while collaborating with HW engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Test Engineers and PCB Commodity Engineers.
• Ownership of board layout from feasibility study to board tape-out, constraint entry, following HW design guidelines, placement and routing studies, board routing studies to optimize new package ballouts, interfacing with internal PDTs and PCB vendors to support board builds, creation of both logic and physical library symbols, PCB land patterns, etc.

:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or in a related field of study.
• 5+ years of experience with all phases of hardware development including schematic entry, signal integrity practices and theories, constraint entry, library creation, DFM.
• 5+ years of experience with PCB layout utilizing Cadence Allegro 17.2 or newer.
• Experience with Cadence Constraint Manager and layout of complex rules driven designs.
• Experience with highly complex PCB designs both individually as well as part of a team while working across multiple sites.
• Experience with leading external CAD contract workers to meet project demands.
• Experience with Cadence Library part creation and Cadence Concept Schematic and Packaging tools and Valor DFM checking tool.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with a broad range of PCB form factors.
• Experience with Gerbtool
