Within SaT, the TRS services helps clients deal with different forms of threats including economic change, innovation, capital constraints, operational aspects.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative solutions for turnaround and operational restructuring, including cost reduction, cash flow management, and strategic repositioning.
- Lead complex turnaround engagements, working closely with onshore teams and clients to rapidly stabilize operations, implement cost take-outs, and drive sustainable improvements
- Engage with key stakeholders to advise on portfolio optimization strategies, including divestitures, carve-outs, and restructurings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor in times of crisis and transformation.
- Drive business development activities, including proposal development, market analysis, and thought leadership
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Turnaround and Operational Restructuring team, mentoring staff, and fostering an environment of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with EY's global network to leverage best practices and deliver exceptional client service
Skills and attributes for success
- Over 12 years of professional experience in turnaround and operational restructuring, with a strong track record of leading successful engagements.
- Prior experience in a consulting or advisory role within a professional services firm, with a focus on the AMM sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify new opportunities and drive growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet client needs.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Chartered Accountancy/ MBA in Finance from a premiere institute
- 12 + years of PQE in:
- Management Consultancy firms, preferably Big 4 or financial firms: McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, PwC or KPMG
- Large Indian corporates with exposure in restructuring activities, analytics, financial modelling and corporate finance role
