Senior Data Scientist will play a pivotal role in designing and executing advanced analytics and AI/ML initiatives at Citi Wealth. The role requires a dynamic leader who will drive innovation and contribute to building out the data science practice at Citi Wealth, in addition to implementing initiatives that deliver significant customer and business wins.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and deliver personalized customer experiences with the use of advanced AI and ML methods.

    • Uncover hidden customer features through advanced statistical, quantitative or ML-driven methods to feed into insights and segmentation.

    • Leverage and utilize unstructured data, with the use of NLP techniques or LLMs to design, create and develop customer features, product features and transaction enrichment to enhance campaign and model performance.

    • Development of understanding customers’ attitudes and behavior in pricing and demand through design and development of models and tests.

  • Estimate affluence across wealth continuum from variety of data signals and identify potential clients who can benefit from Citi's Wealth solutions

  • Improve campaign performance through the development, and application of machine learning and recommendation models

  • Optimize model performance balancing precision and recall through but not limited to fine tuning, parameter optimization and ensemble building.

  • Enhance customer lifecycle management through event and anomaly detection, inferencing and estimation and time series analyses.

  • Use of advance analytics, AI/ML methods to prescribe to rank possible next best actions for customers and financial advisors

  • Develop scalable frameworks relating to the data science practice on different domains to be able to build-once deploy many.

  • Apply objective measurements to evaluate and uphold fairness in models

  • Design solutions to automate model monitoring and performance

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in building data science/quantitative solutions and some managerial experience

  • Advance knowledge in machine learning: supervised and unsupervised learning, clustering, reinforcement learning and NLP

  • Understanding the spirit and letter of model governance

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences effectively

  • Experience working within financial services and proved track record of building and deploying AI/ML cloud powered data services/solutions

Education:

  • Advanced degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science or a related field

  • Relevant certifications on big data technologies and platforms is advantageous
