Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements for model development, focusing on social shopping signals and explanations through state-of-the-art techniques.Design and implement scalable IR/ML models capable of processing and analyzing large datasets to improve search and shopping experiences. Must have a strong background in IR, NLP, ML or large-scale data mining.Serve as a technical lead and liaison for specific projects, facilitating collaboration across teams and addressing technical challenges. Requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a PhD in Computer Science or a related field.

- 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language

- Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy etc.
- Experience with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark etc.
