You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.You are able to execute small projects on your own and work with your manager in planning and executing larger local projects. You act as an escalation point for junior technicians. You understand all aspects of the equipment you support. Shift work is required. This position will fill an opening at one of multiple separate sites. This position may involve a night shift.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security related requirements.
24/7 shift coverage is required and may include up to 12 hour shifts, rotating shifts, 3, 4, or 5 day work weeks, and may change based on the needs of the business. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time.This position requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a cramped and/or elevated environment.

- High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

- Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or equivalent professional or military experience · Desire and aptitude to learn- Learn and Be Curious · Network+, A+, Linux+ certifications · Experience with Cisco, Juniper and other commodity networking devices · Experience working in a Data Center environment: racking & stacking equipment, cable management
