What you'll do
As a Development Expert and Cloud Network Engineer (f/m/d) you will contribute to improve the availability, scalability, and reliability of the network components of our service infrastructure. You will drive the design, implementation, and high-quality delivery of the solution. If it is necessary, you must respond to incidents and their root cause analysis. You will work in a diverse team that practices agile software development. The team is empowered and self-organized.
What you bring
- Very good degree in computer science, informatics, business informatics or related areas
- Strong experience in enterprise network architecture, communication, and protocols
- Very good experience in cloud network environment, e.g., Load Balancers, NAT-Gateways, Virtual Networks, Service Mesh and Peering
- Hands-on experience with tools for debugging network traces, e.g., Wireshark
- Strong experience and interest in container management, i.e., Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, preferably Python or Golang
- Very good language skills in English
- We are looking for a team player with extraordinary soft skills. Experience with GDCH is a plus.
