This role suits someone with experience in project management, data visualization, interest to work on solutions between functional business requirements and IT solutions and driving change. A basic understanding of finance and analytics concepts is required. The person should be able to think strategically and demonstrate a pragmatic and can-do mindset.
Your key responsibilities
- Support all activities around the Pipeline Reporting solution and work closely with the Product Lead
- Help visualizing reporting solutions and wireframes
- Provide input to the roadmap of Essentials for Opportunities and help managing the ideas place to collect ideas directly from the E4O customer base
- Document requirements as input for the development team
- Support and review the development process from a project management and functional perspective
- Validate enhancements and remediated defects
- Assist with developing training or support materials
- Support change management initiatives to increase adoption and overall usage and build and moderate communities representing the different pursuit specific user groups
- Work closely with Pursuit Teams, Markets, BD, Markets Finance and R&A teams on new solutions, issues and ensure a consistent set of reports that are built on the same guiding principles
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong communication, and presentation skills
- Experience with project management
- Good understanding of the key information needs and processes of our pursuit teams
- Basic understanding of the key financial business rules and the key source systems (e.g. Mercury, ARD/MDM and Microsoft Dynamics)
- The ideal candidate should be proficient in performing data analysis using SQL and Excel tools, have the capacity to communicate effectively, and possess the ability to influence IT teams in solving data-related issues.
- Should have experience in or a desire to work with stakeholders to convert business requirements into developer-friendly specifications.
- Ability to adapt and change positively in response to changing business priorities.
- Detailed oriented, structural work approach as well as high-quality and consistency standards
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Some experience in a reporting and analysis role within EY
- Track record of providing excellent customer service, a quality improvement- and process-orientated professional approach
- Creativity in solution design and flexibility how to best approach different user groups/profiles
- Capability to effectively work in a virtual environment across multiple time zones
- Skill to prioritize workload and deliver outputs within strict deadlines
- Good change management skill set
- Appreciation and respect of varying cultures – both corporate and geographical
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Prior knowledge of key Finance concepts for existing R&A reporting solutions is not required but would be an advantage for this role
- Experience with CRM concepts and tools would be preferred
- Ability to adapt to new environments in order to keep up with the changes to technology, tools and processes
- Open minded on how to approach solutions, people and work styles
- Ability for some international travel from time to time (<10%)
