Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Applied Scientist on this team, you will:- Tackle ambiguous and complex science problems in time-series analysis, causal inference, statistical modeling, recommendation, and reinforcement learning.
- Build statistical and machine learning models, perform proof-of-concept, experiment, optimize, and deploy your models into production.
- Run A/B experiments, gather data, and perform statistical tests.

- 5+ years of applied research experience
- 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of applied research experience
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning

- Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy etc.
- PhD in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics or equivalent quantitative field
