WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Adopt to Consume Product Management function takes ownership of customer needs and innovations (both internal and external) and turns them into product solutions from exploration through requirements elicitation, design, and delivery in close collaboration with the engineering teams.
You will connect customer expectations with development and technology realities.
Your Areas of responsibilities:
- Manage the full product life cycle by ensuring that our Customer Portal solution generates maximum value and meets business goals.
- Create and communicate the product strategy to external and internal stakeholders.
- Identify the most important user problems and innovation ideas and define use-cases by analyzing the needs of customers and internal teams.
- Work with product owners, developers, UX designers, and product managers and ensure that the team finds the best solutions.
- Evaluate solution ideas regarding business impact and realization feasibility
- Define, negotiate, approve, and track product objectives and build the product roadmap.
- Define and own the Solutions backlog and guide and collaborate with engineering teams throughout delivery and deployment
- Engage with Customers and internal communities to showcase the solution, collect feedback and drive continuous evolvement
- Enable the customer with the help of tools (eg. walk-me), a demo landscape and direct interaction.
WHAT YOU BRING
- You are passionate about customer experience technology, software products and have the skills and experience to make an impact.
- You have experience in SAP’s Service organization or similar external experience.
- Ideally you have an existing network in SAP’s Customer Success and Delivery organization
- You are naturally curious and have the digger gene, you love to deep drive into topics.
- You are a people person with the skills to influence and balance competing priorities.
- You are familiar with agile methodologies and understand how dual-track product development works (Discovery & Delivery).
- You know how to turn complex problems into opportunities and solutions.
- You have experience in driving complex product initiatives to reach high business impact.
- You focus on results and utilize a wide range of skillsets including Design Thinking practices like Use Case Exploration, User Journey Mapping, Prototyping, User Testing, etc.
- Your communication is clear and to the point.
Education and Job Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Business, or related field.
- Several years of experience in the Product Management Domain.
- Business Domain knowledge in one or multiple capabilities such as Master Data Management, User Identity Mgmt, etc.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledgeable of cloud-based technologies and enterprise software applications.
- Able to work well in virtual environments with remote teams.
- Experience in requirements identification, solution analysis/validation, excellent communication and presentation skills.
