Key job responsibilities
As a Knowledge Engineer, you will:- Represent real-world concepts for both computer and human understanding.
- Configure Alexa's language capabilities to understand and answer questions.
- Identify content opportunities to fill gaps in Alexa's understanding.- Ingest structured data to enhance Alexa’s knowledge.
- Maintain the quality of existing knowledge.
- Expand the platform's ability to infer new knowledge.
- Monitor specific KPIs and drive improvements in Alexa's capabilities.
A day in the life
Knowledge Engineers perform the following tasks daily:- Review and scope data sources for ingestion.
- Communicate with data providers to resolve issues.
- Scrape structured and unstructured data legally.
- Evaluate data to meet budget and quality requirements.
- Develop automated ETL pipelines for data ingestion.
- Define new ontological constructs to represent real-world knowledge.
- Review ontology designs proposed by peers.- Create training data sets for ML techniques and LLMs.

- A work experience of 1-3 years in the field of Semantic and Ontological Modelling is highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of Data Modelling and ETL Design.
- Experience working with both structured and unstructured data sets.
- Strong verbal and written fluency in Hindi.

- Able to write and execute SQL or Python scripts.
- Excellent written communication and verbal communication skill
- Deep understanding of data schema and organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong logical and conceptual thought processes
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self starter
- Knowledge of LLMs and Prompt Engineering.
