Your role will be divided into the following activities:
Direct customer engagements - You will work on business opportunities, from discovery to tailored demonstrations and presentations showcasing our solutions’ value. You will provide technical expertise during the sales process, addressing customer questions and concerns. You will work in close collaboration with SEs and AEs involved in those accounts
Understand and map customer goals to the Salesforce product portfolio, designing innovative solutions that address their challenges
Present our Commerce technology with deep familiarity of our B2C, D2C, B2B and Order management capabilities, ensuring confidence in our offerings
Stay abreast of industry trends and market opportunities, using your expertise to drive product innovation
Lead technical discussions with various partners, from C-level executives to IT teams, articulating the value of our solutions
Collaborate with multi-functional teams around the globe to tackle technical problems and deliver exceptional customer experiences
Participate in product training and certifications to stay at the forefront of product, domain and industry knowledge
1-many customer sessions - You will share thought leadership and solution knowledge by running live customer sessions such as webinars, masterclasses, and campfires to drive solution awareness and ACV
1-many internal education - You will share your expertise internally by running AE and SE enablement sessions and holding office hours
Assets creation - You will create highly relevant and reusable assets such as Consensus videos, holodecks, demo environments to allow others to self-serve
Required Qualifications & Skills
Shown experience as a solution/sales engineer ideally in Commerce or related technology fields; alternatively in Salesforce technology
Strong passion for commerce solutions and technology
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative and adaptable attitude
Customer-centric attitude with the ability to empathize and understand customer needs
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Willingness to travel when required
Fluency in English and German
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Understanding of the e-commerce vendor landscape, including cloud and headless competitors
Understanding of system architecture and backend integration scenarios for E-Commerce
Additional experience with Salesforce B2B / B2C Commerce, OMS, and DTC offerings is a plus
Experience in e-commerce industries like Manufacturing, Retail, CPG, DTC etc.
Expertise in domains like commerce, web analytics, content management systems, inbound marketing, marketplaces, order management, product information management, etc.
Affinity with HTML, CSS, API, and frontend web development
Familiarity with common web technologies and programming experience including React, Next.js, Vue.js, Node.js, etc.
Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts
Experience orchestrating a sales cycle that requires the involvement of multiple internal and external resources
Experience in presenting and hosting webinars or public speaking
