About the role:
The Social Media Specialist II role supports the development and execution of best-in-class social media programs to align with the overall marketing and communications objectives of the Electrophysiology division. This position will be instrumental in creating and managing social media campaigns, monitoring performance, and engaging with customers across social media platforms to enhance brand presence and drive business results.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:Support the development of comprehensive social media plans for brand awareness with measurable objectives.
Own projects consisting of planning, execution, and measurement of social media campaigns targeting key audiences.
Partner with analytics resources to show value of campaigns and provide a regular cadence of performance reports.
Partner with Social Media Manager on social listening, inclusive of daily monitoring across platforms, community management and reporting by audience and channel.
Track and analyze social data (owned, earned, paid, shared) and use insights to optimize communication strategies, demonstrate success and identify areas of opportunity. Support ad-hoc social listening and reporting requests.
Maintain a content calendar, contribute to content creation, scheduling in social media tools (i.e. Khoros) and/or manually in platform.
Execute and optimize paid campaigns for targeted audiences, ensuring cohesion between paid and organic content strategies.
Conduct trend research, competitive analyses and other external benchmarking; share insights and recommendations.
Foster social media innovation by incubating and testing new platforms and strategies in collaboration with corporate, divisional and regional teams.
Partner with external agencies as needed for digital advertising programs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing or related field.
3+ years of overall marketing, communications and/or digital experience in a B2C or B2B environment.
Proven track record developing digital campaigns with digital media and social media acumen.
Direct experience in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and social listening tools (Khoros, Social Studio, Sprout, Sprinklr) preferred.
Understanding of and comfort using Google Analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other highly regulated industry.
Experience with emerging technologies including generative AI.
Proficient in social listening for external trends, benchmarking, and identifying white space opportunities.
Familiarity with enterprise tools for social media management, social listening/intelligence, and employee advocacy.
Maximum Salary: $ 132000
