Job Description

As a leader within the IT group, you will:

• Establish and maintain relationships with Corporate Tax and IT colleagues to lead the delivery of our business solutions

• Gain a deep understanding of the business processes, systems, and data that support strategic processes and programs related to our income tax and indirect tax areas

• Lead the development of solutions in our various technology platforms that can be applied to requirements

• Technical implementation of key applications to help ensure alignment between business needs and solutions along with our technology partners

• Demonstrate the ability to evaluate new ideas and proposed methods for practicality and ease of implementation

• Demonstrate skill in using an open communication style that actively acknowledges other thoughts and opinions

• Demonstrate ability to independently solve problems that arise within job responsibility and expectations

• Share best practices, tools, and techniques across the Tax Management product line

• Partner with our vendors to ensure optimal solutions and to enhance the capabilities of their products to improve overall value provided

• Be part of agile teams and collectively work towards common goals

• Able to succeed in a dynamic, rapidly changing, highly matrixed business environment

What we need:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant IT technical experience

• Experience in Data Modeling/Design using SAP S/4 HANA components (HANA BW, SLT and SDA interfaces, SAP Analytics Cloud)

• Working knowledge of Finance Systems, Scrum and Collaboration Tools (i.e. Jira, Confluence, etc.)

• Ability to gather requirements and realize the same into design

• Work with SDA related Datasources / Virtual tables

• Build SQL based Procedures / Table functions and Calculation Views with usage of HANA functions

• Knowledge of XS and OData Services

• Knowledge of CDS development

• Experience in design and build of complex reports and dashboards using industry leading Business Intelligence platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Spotfire, SAP Analytics Cloud

• Experience in development of reporting and analytics solutions in cloud platforms such as AWS components (i.e. S3, Athena, Redshift or RDS), Matillion, Tibco EBX is desirable

• Ability to learn new technology

• Strong written and verbal communications skills including the ability to communicate with both a business and technical audience

• Critical thinker who can effectively embrace new ideas and technologies while balancing the needs of stakeholders and users

• Hands-on Agile experience, pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience a plus

Education Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma required

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred
