Your impact

During your internship, you will be mentored by Professional Engineers while you engage with our clients, evaluate their energy needs, and develop concept-level plans and solutions. We offer and deliver a true "end-to-end" life-cycle service from exploration, development, operation, and repowering/retirement. Your primary responsibilities will focus on supporting engineering calculations, construction drawings, and specifications for energy and power projects. Specific tasks will include piping and equipment sizing, stress analysis, flow modeling, energy analysis, and life cycle cost evaluations, and other detailed engineering calculations.You’ll also take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.

Here's what you'll need
  • Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program for Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline from an ABET- accredited program

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Familiarity or experience with:
    • 3D modeling software such as Revit, AutoCAD, CADWorx and NavisWorks
    • hydraulic modeling software such as Pipe-Flo or Pipe 2000
    • systems modeling software such as Thermoflow or Aspen/Hysys
