Responsibilities and duties:

• Need to have good knowledge and experience in Insurance domain (Life or Non-Life)
• Work closely with Mangers and department heads on financial statements and reports.
• Experience in running planning, budgeting, forecasting processes, process analysis and transformation, cost/expense allocation, financial consolidation.
• Preparing and providing various financial analytics and reporting with focus on quality review, timely delivery of reports.
• Understand drivers for cost performance; drilldown and analyse the cost across actuals and plan.
• Development and maintenance of existing access databases, excel spreadsheets to improve existing/new reports.
• Exposure to one/more of EPM suite of applications- Anaplan, Hyperion, Tagetik, etc is must.
• Prepare and consolidate FP&A related issues and procedural training documentation.
• Facilitates small to large meetings and conducts information gathering and/or training sessions as required.

Skills And Attributes for Success:

• Must have prior working experience in preparation of Annual Operating plan and tracking of monthly performance against the plans. Doing the tracking effectively by using analytics dashboards.
• Thorough working knowledge of Finance and accounting, business analysis including experience with key financial processes such as monthly/quarterly close, forecasting and Annual Planning
• Independently and proactively analyse financial information and develop solutions to complex problems.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work and deliver in tight deadlines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivation and proactiveness in driving/delivering project deliverables.
• Ability to handle multiple other stakeholders.

To qualify for the role, you must have.

• CA/CWA/MBA/M.Com/B.Com with 8+ years of work experience preferably in life insurance industry or big 4 consulting firm.
• Strong Knowledge in Accounting, Finance, MIS etc.
• Knowledge of any EPM suite of applications- Anaplan, Hyperion, Tagetik
• Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Proficiency in MS – Excel, MS – Office.
• Experience in Life Insurance and preferably Big4 from consulting firms.
