Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

In your first 6-12 months, you will:

  • Lead the successful delivery of one of the key virtualization technology projects, focusing on CPU and memory virtualization for VCF Division products.

  • Establish effective communication channels with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration on complex projects.

  • Provide strong leadership in mentoring and developing the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

  • Develop and refine operational processes to enhance team efficiency and project delivery.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

As a Manager in the Monitor Group, you will:

  • Lead the successful design, implementation, and delivery of virtualization technology projects,

  • Drive the integration of new bleeding-edge virtualization technologies, including advanced CPU virtualization and memory management techniques, into Broadcom's cloud infrastructure.

  • Manage high-priority, technically complex projects while ensuring they meet deadlines and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to drive product development and solve critical challenges.

  • Actively contribute to setting strategic goals and provide insights to leadership on the latest trends in virtualization and cloud computing.

  • Mentor team members, providing guidance on both technical growth and leadership development.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and 12+ years of related experience.

  • 3+ years of management experience.

  • Strong background in Embedded Software development, including experience in C and assembly programming.

  • Experience working on the kernel and/or virtualization space.

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Extensive experience in mentoring and nurturing engineering staff.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is127,000 - $225,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
