Description
Hardware virtualization is core foundational technology. You’ll be implementing new virtual machine and virtual device capabilities across the stack from guest to host.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with system programming, kernel and/or device driver development.
- Understanding of OS internals and memory management.
- Knowledge of CPUs and/or GPU architectures.
- Highly focused, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules.
- Excellent collaborative skills, with strong written and verbal communication.
- Excellent C and C++ programming skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of virtualization technologies – CPU/GPU virtualization or device emulation
- Experience with Objective-C or Swift a plus
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
