What you'll do

  • Responsible for quality control and assurance assessments multiple risk and control programmes for the organisation including defining the strategy, approach, processes, quality, tools and reporting that provide global risk management consistency and excellence.
  • Establishes quality control process of attributes to ensure proper calculation and control.
  • Works closely with business partners on findings and makes recommendations on improving practices.
  • Recommends procedural implementation and risk management process with Regulatory Business Commitment Milestone (RBCM) Teams.
  • Examines procedures for consistency and gaps relative to regulatory commitments in addition to impacts on customer experience.
  • Conducts internal testing of RBCMs. Monitors exceptions within RBCMs.
  • Leverages data to examine impacts to regulatory commitments.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
  • Appropriately assesses RBCMs when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we'll need from you:

  • Relevant work experience in Business Risk & Controls Experience in financial services.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective organisational influencing skills required Demonstrated ability to lead global team efforts
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
