Description
- Experience building highly available and fault tolerant systems- Experience with software development tools on Linux - Understands and can implement the lifecycle of ML development - Experience with ML Experimentation tools and workflows- Proven track record of shipping services in production environments for consumer facing products- Experience managing performance, application and security log management- Strong coding experience and capable of picking up new languages- Strong analytical thinking to solve challenging problems- Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years experience designing and implementing modular, composable services, using state-of-the-art technology stacks
- 1+ years of experience Collecting and Analyzing ML performance metrics
- 2+ years working on highly available, high-volume, low latency services at scale
- 2+ years working in AWS w/ container services (preferred experience in k8s).
- Preferred Experience Airflow in AWS
- Preferred Experience in Go, Java or Kotlin
Education & Experience
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Additional Requirements
- - Experience handling Pen Testing and Secure Applications is a plus
- - Works well in and across teams
- - Works well in a self directed environment
- - Comfortable with weekly on-call rotation
- - Reliable and responsive to support the team’s needs
- - Nice to have experience handling Pen Testing and Secure Applications
- - This is a site-based role
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
