Key Responsibilities:
Leads team in development and execution of laboratory and preclinical research to prove feasibility of concepts and ensure robust technology performance that meets customer needs and global regulatory approval requirements.
Develops novel methodology for testing therapeutic ablation catheters to demonstrate safety and efficacy in evolving pulsed field ablation space.
Leads project team to analyze, summarize, and compellingly present data for both internal stakeholders and external regulatory submissions, understanding how an individual test complements the overall data package.
Develops and leads physician partnerships to advance our understanding of PFA therapeutic performance
Participates in the development of others by facilitating training and providing feedback and guidance.
Creates a strong team culture around high expectations and high performance
Maintains detailed documentation throughout all phases of research and development.
Provides clear communication to stakeholders at key technical updates.
Required Qualifications:
10+ Years with BS,7-9 Years with MS, 5+ Years with PhD
Degree in Engineering
Understanding of regulatory requirements and how R&D data supports overall package
Demonstrated strong cross-functional collaboration, influence without authority, and project/task management enabling highly effective teams
Passion for understanding and solving problems for end users
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently to plan and schedule own activities necessary to meet timelines
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering
Knowledge of Pulsed Field Ablation
Demonstrated experience in cardiac electrophysiology
Proven self-starter who runs towards critical issues, ambiguous requirements, or loosely defined challenges with a demonstrated ability to rally teams to achieve business results.
Understands mapping and ablation system to apply system-level expertise to ablation therapy development.
Maximum Salary: $ 232000
