As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you would be responsible for assuring the functionalities of the new product. In addition, you would also be engaged in both frond end and backend verification. You will join a high energy team that is creating compelling and innovative product for a wide variety of users. You will have ownership of quality assurance in significant areas of the product.

As a Fortinet Quality Assurance Specialist, you will also learn about the latest advancements in network security - including remote server access, secret management and Cloud Management etc.

Job Responsibilities

In this role at Fortinet, you will:

• Verify functionalities of various modules of FortiPAM.
• Testing on front end and backend service
• Testing on system performance
• Verifying System stability
• Promote best practices within the team and organization
• Provide improvement suggestions while using Fortinet products on a daily basis

Job Skills Required

• 4 years of network equipment or Linux system testing experience.
• Expert level on Linux operation and Python
• Expert level understanding on networking related knowledge such as TCP/IP, routing protocols and security testing
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and team work spirit.

Assets:

• Expert knowledge on routers and switches
• Knowledge on SSH, VNC, Remote Desktop Protocol
• Front end and back end development experience is a plus
• CCIE is a plus

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $81,000 - $110,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
