What You Will Do:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines using AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena) and Databricks.

• Create and manage APIs for streamlined data access and integration.

• Define and enforce data architecture and governance standards.

• Utilize Spark/PySpark for effective parallel computing.

• Write and maintain scripts in Python, SQL/PL SQL, and Shell/Bash.

• Directly collaborate with internal teams, foster teamwork and manage a junior data engineer.

Skills and Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Preference for candidates with a Master’s degree.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in data infrastructure and pipeline management.

• Strong skills in Python, SQL, AWS, CI/CD, and GitHub.

• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a varied audience.

• Experience in leading projects, with a proven record of successful delivery.

• Eagerness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Nice to have:

• AWS CLI, Terraform, Jenkins
