Responsibilities:

We seek enthusiastic individuals who have expertise in building and deploying AI solutions at scale. You will have the opportunity to make impactful contributions throughout the full life cycle of the project, including data acquisition, training glass box models, fine-tuning large/small language models, deployment and monitoring of performance metrics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Bring new technology and approaches into production to solve immediate product needs. Conduct applied research to systematically improve accuracy of glass-box systems by scaling data, model size, and modeling techniques. Perform optimizations to achieve a better cost and latency envelop of the product. Develop prompts and fine-tune large (e.g., GPT-4) and small (e.g. Phi-3) language models for accurate clinical language generation. Apply techniques to distill knowledge from highly performant large language models to smaller models.
  • Contribute to the expansion of DAX Copilot to European countries and languages. Develop innovative approaches to mitigate limited data resources including leveraging language translation and large language models. Build multilingual foundational models for clinical note generation.
  • Recognize the challenges in interpreting product data and develop metrics that reflect true customer experience and extract supervision signals from user behavior that AI models can use for learning. Monitor product performance indicators, identify areas where the product falls short, and devise a strategy for mitigation.
  • Design and develop scalable and robust tools for data processing, experimentation, and analysis of results to enhance researcher experience. Develop an understanding of tools, technologies, and methods being used in the community that can be utilized to improve product quality, performance, or efficiency
