Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Lead Software Engineer. Telecommuting available from anywhere in US. HQ at 800 Nicollet Mall Minneapolis, MN 55402.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering and 5 years (progressive, post-baccalaureate) software development experience.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must have 24 months of experience leading a team of Data Engineers. Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Business Requirements Analysis, Data Analysis, Design Data Engineering solutions for Data Warehouse and Data Lake systems using Cloud Technologies; 2) Design and Develop Data Engineering ETL solutions and Data pipelines using advanced Data Analytics tools and technologies; 3) Use the following Devops methodologies and tools like GIT, Jenkins, Ansible; Talend ETL tools, Spark applications and Cassandra Database; and BI application tools like SAP Business Objects and Tableau reporting; and 4) Use the following programming languages: SQL, Python, and PySpark. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
