- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience in DC exits/transformations through migrating applications to cloud platforms using strategies such as the 6Rs.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, on-premise infrastructure, virtualization and containerisation platforms.
- Experience building and maintaining customer relationships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions, encompassing strategy, implementation, and maintenance to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Knowledge of modernization path for mainframe and Unix operating systems (i.e., AIX, pSeries, zSeries, HP-UX).
- Strong scripting or programming skills for automation and operational efficiency.
- Proficient in security concepts like encryption and identity/access management, alongside networking concepts including SDN, routing, VPNs, load balancing and firewalls.
