The Role:
This Senior SDE will play as Android Platform Software Architect role and will This hands-on position requires broad engineering competence and in-depth technical knowledge of Android software architecture, as well as demonstrated experience successfully planning, organizing, and conducting software development projects in a dynamic environment.Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Be responsible for software architecture of Amazon platforms, determining current limitations and compatibilities between subsystems, selection of new concepts and methodology, and development of major routines and utilities.
* Be responsible for design review, technical direction and roadmap, including Linux kernel/driver, Android HAL, product build, release, sustaining and OTA strategy.
* Provide technical leadership and contribute to the definition, development, integration, test, documentation and support of platform components (kernel, boot loader, user space system libraries and hardware specific framework implementation).
* Define software architecture of Amazon OS and feature break down.

- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 10+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 10+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience

- 10+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
