As an
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrating technical knowledge of Mechanical Fuel Controls/Servo Valves and technologies, including aircraft interface, sub-system, system and platform applications.
- Using project management skills to effectively develop and interpret detailed Program Plans.
- Work ISC Engineering activities when appropriate and write/consult on Engineering White Papers with IRB team on field issues.
- Using tools such as Fault Trees, Fishbones, RCCA, and FMEAs to improve the organization and execution of failure investigations to drive to root cause.
- Anticipating expectations of both internal and external customers, proactively provides status of technical issues in an effective/timely manner and seeks feedback on service to continually make improvements.
- Interface with the GBE in various random capacities, including:
- Roadmaps
- Technical volumes (proposals)
- Development Programs
- Proactively communicating status of issues to customers and within Honeywell using existing processes.
- Making accurate decisions in high pressure situations with limited data; incorporating risk analysis in decision making.
- Maintaining composure in stressful and changing environments; comfortable interacting with all levels of customer and Honeywell organizations from highly technical individuals to senior leadership.
- Working with teams with diverse backgrounds and encouraging others to pursue Customer Support and Honeywell objectives, even if issues are difficult or controversial.
- Can work independently with some oversight from Sr Adv and Lead Project Engineers.
- Assignments are geared to develop less on project management and more on technical skills and to build in-depth product knowledge.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited program.
- 3+ years’ experience in applying advanced design, development, evaluation, and quality control techniques to complex engineering projects.
- 3+ years’ experience managing engineering projects autonomously and without supervision.

- Experience with coatings and/or cabin pressure valves.

- Demonstrated mastery experience with design tools appropriate for the field (Python, Matlab, MS Office Suite).
- Demonstrated leadership experience in coordinating and overseeing successful projects.
