Key Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of business contexts, requirements, objectives, and expectations of customers (customer-centricity).
Collaborate with other POs, Tech Leads, Product Designers, and Stakeholders to create a roadmap that enhances the user experience of our security testing tools.
Align priorities and maintain a prioritized backlog, managing dependencies and risks while integrating security considerations.
Define and write epics and stories in collaboration with developers, while ensuring alignment with Product Management based on the product vision and strategy.
Communicate with and manage expectations with the team and the stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
Manage progress, remove impediments, and ensure timely delivery of features.
Act as the spokesperson and ambassador for team achievements to the rest of the organization.
Work with all development process contributors, e.g., Product Managers, Architects, Scrum Masters, Developers, UX, RTEs and DevOps to establish and execute a flawless development process.
What you bring-
9+ years of experience in building software products/services, with experience in working with security tools (preferably Cloud application development - SaaS).
5+ years of experience as Product Owner and working with agile development (including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe). Certifications like CSPO / PMPO are preferable.
Knowledge of the Security Testing domain including knowhow of various tools, processes, technologies (like SAST / DAST) in detail.
Strong technical skills, with ability to dive deep into technical trends, architectural questions, stack control points, roadmaps, and managing the development lifecycle.
Background in security tools and platforms (e.g., OWASP, Burp, ZAP, etc.) and understanding of hyperscalers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to translate between different domains and adjust to different audiences.
Ability to lead with agility and create progress – even in ambiguous situations.
A passion for coaching and mentoring less experienced colleagues by drawing upon your experience, skills, and knowledge.
Strong user focus and methods for discovering user needs, introducing KPIs / metrics
Demonstrated expertise in leveraging product telemetry data to monitor, analyze, and gain insights into user interactions, behaviors, and patterns.
An eye for non-functional requirements such as security, performance, scalability, availability, cost, and operations.
Experience in risk management techniques – not just for the team backlog, but also for the overall solution - at the program level.
