Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as Business Partner and coordinates local financial performance reviews with management / leadership team to provide decision support and financial insights to Business Leaders, proactively facilitating resource allocation, identify risks and opportunities and provide suggestions on appropriate course of actions on a timely manner
  • Lead the market effort of developing monthly and quarterly management reporting, Budgets/Forecasts, Long Range Operating Plans and review materials at appropriate level to facilitate performance management and decision making for the business.
  • Ensure effective and timely communication with BSC, Regional / HQ COE's regarding key deliverables and support.
  • Supports achievement of finance and business objectives through high quality finance support.
  • Works closely with Managing director, Business Units, Business Support, and Market Access teams to:
    • Prepare mid-month, month-end, and quarter estimates and actual commentaries.
    • Coordinate the development and submission of financial forecasts, budget, 5-year plan.
    • Track performance against forecasts to understand and clearly articulate the drivers
    • Support continuous Gross to Net optimization and provide recommendations to country LT.
    • Prepare and present business review slides to local and regional senior leaders.
  • Coordinates escalation/identification of issues and advise Finance leadership of potential business and/or operational risks.
  • Identifies, designs, and installs process improvements for local financial reporting, forecasting and management related activities.
  • Supports monthly close process inclusive of accrual evaluations, postings and balance sheet reviews and approves manual journal entries. Reviews and approves credit note requests.
  • Support to and Partnership with local Accounting Lead to enforce financial controls, regulations and supports Audit requirements.
  • Other business support: contributes to assessments of country business development projects, oversees credit limit reviews and receivable risks; supports other back-office activities related to facilities, fleet, telecommunications, etc.
  • Provides financial and compliance consultation in reviews of vendors, customers and distributors.
  • Provides financial literacy education for non-finance stakeholders, fostering a broader understanding of financial concepts and terminology, facilitating collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Co-represents the company as an executive, registered in the Commercial registry.

Specific Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor/Master education in Business Economic, Finance, or Accounting
  • Experience: 7-10 years of demonstrated experience in a finance or accounting role with business support, FP&A experience is preferred
  • Systems: Solid knowledge of financial reporting and planning systems and processes, good knowledge of systems (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Analytics, BPC, PowerBI)
  • Language Requirements: English fluent, Hungarian is an asset

Delivers findings and reports in a timely, clear, meaningful, and action-oriented way.
  • Data storytelling:Communicates and delivers the financial data effectively and creatively so it is clearly understood and resonates with various stakeholders. Adjusts to audience as necessary.
