This position will be responsible for
innovation and new product development for Software and SaaS offerings for Connected Buildings and Energy Management Systems
New Product Development
Understand the different needs of target segments and ensure that the portfolio, channel and competency is aligned to win in the market
Integrate inputs to develop distinctive product plans with outstanding financial outcomes; be competent in VOC, research and analysis and basic marketing toolkit [market definition and sizing, segmentation, value management, targeting and positioning, pricing.
Product Portfolio Management
Ensure correct Pricing and Positioning for all the products in the portfolio, with timely revisions as per the market demand
Manage Gross Margins for the portfolio by putting the right pricing strategies in place
Effectively manage the product launches and phase-outs. This would also include adherence to a detailed Product launch plan and effective launch communication
End to end brand ownership and product lifecycle management (product phase-in/out, demand planning, SIOP). Ensure portfolio is always relevant to the market with optimal brand mix to ensure all target segments are served profitably with minimal conflict and cannibalization.

Develop strong market network to gather market intelligence and update competition activities on regular basis. Use this knowledge to create means to effectively compete and continuously upgrade the portfolio
Track competition pricing to understand Market Operating prices of products and align our pricing with market on regular basis

: Graduate in technical field (Engineering/Science/Computers) and MBA (preferred).
: 8+ years of Product Management, sales & marketing experience
: Experience in Connected Buildings, Energy management systems is mandatory . Experience of building and managing IoT, SaaS and digital products is highly preferred.
Results driven track record – proven ability to translate strategies into action and results
Start-up / Entrepreneurial experience welcome
Excellent written, oral, and technical communication skills, including presentation experience to large and diverse audience.
Possess strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
