ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Pilot Plant Operator (R&D Technician I) you will operate, monitor, and take readings on a group of pilot plants. This consists of collecting samples for the labs to analyze. You will be responsible for your work area, to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will work rotating shifts that will include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
You will be working at Research & Development center in
McCook, IL . Pilot plants at UOP are bench scale assemblies of high-pressure equipment where experiments are conducted for the purpose of catalyst and process development for the Refinery and Petrochemical industries.
The annual base salary range for this position is $45,500-$56,800. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
