What you will do
- Build an end-to-end innovation and ideation lifecycle in Internal Audit and execute this to support IA Strategy and transformation
- Partner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for communicating the innovation agenda and creating grassroots engagement
- Work with senior leadership to embed a culture of innovation, disruptive thinking and experimentation, that embraces and takes ownership for change
- Run workshops, campaigns, initiatives to foster new ideas and utilize design-thinking techniques to tackle some of IA’s biggest challenges
- Direct multi-disciplinary project teams to define and theme requirements, identify, design and test creative solutions
- Develop and deliver supporting assets, including training, case studies, idea libraries and underlying tooling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IA including Strategy, Methodology and COO to ensure innovation is executed safely and in alignment with broader IA Strategy
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
What we will need from you
- Strong background in innovation, design thinking and agile ways of working
- Demonstrated ability in implementing continuous improvement in large, complex organizations, leveraging data/AI tools and techniques
- Experience in Financial Services, risk management and/or Internal Audit preferred
- Extensive experience in successful project and people management
- Proven ability to execute concurrently on a portfolio of high quality deliverables according to strict timetables
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
- Effective negotiation skills
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
