Key Responsibilities:1. Automate and streamline software delivery pipelines, including continuous integration, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning.
2. Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available infrastructure solutions using containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
3. Develop and maintain Python scripts, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code solutions to reduce manual efforts and improve operational efficiency.
4. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications with the underlying infrastructure.
5. Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using tools like Prometheus and Grafana to provide real-time visibility into system health and performance.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
7. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents, ensuring system availability and reliability.
8. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of DevOps practices, processes, and tooling.Qualifications:1. 2-4 years of experience in a DevOps/SRE role, with a strong focus on automation and toil reduction.
2. Proficient in Python or another programming language, with the ability to write efficient and maintainable code.
3. Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
4. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
5. Solid understanding of monitoring and observability practices, with experience in setting up and configuring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
6. Expertise in Linux system administration, networking, and troubleshooting.
7. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and version control systems (Git).
8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications::1. Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
2. Familiarity with chaos engineering practices and tools.
3. Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding principles.
4. Certifications in DevOps, SRE, or related fields (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator).

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
